ComponentOne XLS for .NET

Also part of Studio for .NET and Studio Enterprise, ComponentOne XLS for .NET is a new Excel spreadsheet component enabling you to easily read and write Excel files (xls, biff8) without utilizing Microsoft Excel. Now you can quickly create Excel spreadsheets for WinForms and WebForms applications with one easy-to-use component.

With XLS for .NET, you can read and write excel spreadsheets that include:

• cell values (strings, numbers, booleans, and dates)
• hyperlinks (url's, files, and cell references)
• cell styles (formats, fonts, back/fore colors, borders, alignment, merging)
• row and column dimensions and visibility
• multiple worksheets per file

Developers can also use this powerful component to make the data contained in Excel files available to any .NET application - no additional steps necessary. This component provides the most efficient way to create documents that can be distributed and opened, printed, and analyzed by anyone with access to Microsoft Excel.
