ActiveListBar

ActiveListBar is a 32-bit ActiveX control that lets you easily create client/server applications with the look and feel of Microsoft Office 97's Outlook Bar. ActiveListBar includes such features as sliding groups, enabling you to group icons into a logical subset for enhanced accessability; facilities that enhance web applications like asynchronous download and PNG compression.

ActiveListBar is a control that looks like the control bar in Outlook. Like Outlook, ActiveListBar displays large and small icons within groups. You can also display the toolbar on the side or across the top or bottom of the form.

Pictures and Sounds

ActiveListBar is fully customizable. Pictures can be displayed within the toolbar area, as well as many different icons for the individual items. You can control the colors displayed within the control. You can even play sounds as you select icons and switch between groups using a method of the control.

Easy-to-Use

ActiveListBar is easy-to-use in your program. The property pages make it very easy to set up the various groups and items within them. You can also control them via code because ActiveListBar exposes objects and collections to make it easy for you to set/update the properties.
